There is then an exploration of the promises given to medieval sisters and mystics: St Gertrude St Mechtilde and an examination of the promises of course as given to the 19th century mystic of the Holy Face, Sr Marie of St Peter, who received the prayers and revelations of the Holy Face that we pray today.
