Issue 79 Holy Face Newsletter / V log: Veronica's Veil & the Roman Emperor
In this issue, Allan Smith guests for Parousia Media and discusses an early story on the power of the Veil of Veronica. While impossible to prove, it discusses one train of thought, that St Veronica was the woman cured of the haemorrhage by Jesus who could not stand by but rushed to console Him when she saw Him on the hill of Calvary. Also, that the Veil which was already associated with great healings in the early Church, was sought by none less than the Emperor Tiberius when Tiberius became gravely ill, his envoys having discovered the Jesus had already been executed by Pontius Pilate.
