So happy to inform you of our new accomplishment in our Parish of Saint Therese of Lisieux in Edmonton, Canada, by the grace of God, and of course , with the approval of our good Pastor Fr. Patrick Baska; truly a good Irish Priest whom we believe was ordained by God to help us in the Holy Face Billboard campaign. I talked to Jesus, acknowledging my unworthiness and my incapability telling Him... "Lord I am so little! This work is so huge for me, send me someone to help me accomplish your work." Though, the Apostles of the Holy of Jesus are doing a great job in helping especially in terms of financial matter, (O, so moved with their generosity), still I know, this is not enough. And the good Lord answered my prayer. Before we start doing a project, Ilyn and I would go to Fr. Patrick to let him know everything and we carefully listen to his opinions. For the billboard project, Fr. Patrick did not only give us his consent, but also expressed his total support and blessing. We felt so encouraged and so delighted that when we left his office, Ilyn and I jumped with joy, honestly! So, this is the beacon light telling us to go ahead with peace. Too much to tell but many times the Lord has showed me His clear manifestation that Fr. Patrick was the one He sent to help us accomplish these tasks. And most recently, the establishment of this work of Act of Reparation, which has become our strong weapon to combat the present pandemic that has put many lay faithful into a lot of fears and uncertainties.
Our Lord insisted to Sister Marie of St. Peter that this Act of Reparation needs to be widely spread and wanted His Most Holy Face zealously propagated. Jesus described to Sr. Marie the enormity of the sins of blasphemy, and again demanded that the work of Reparation be established, saying that this devotion surpasses various other devotions. We've been praying the Act of Reparation for many years with just a few faithful and been trying and working hard to propagate it, but I am so happy that it is now established in our parish. I didn't know that the Lord was waiting for an Irish priest before it materialized. Well, it makes sense, our Blessed Lord was first honoured and publicly venerated in Ireland. And by the good and edifying example of how the Irish love and prioritize God in Ireland through their billboards across the country, their land is so blessed! Other nations too will be inspired and will put up their own billboards then our persevering prayers and supplication to God for years and years, "LORD, MAY YOU BE KNOWN, LOVED AND ADORED BY THE WHOLE WORLD" will be granted.
May our Pastor Fr. Patrick be abundantly blessed! And may our church named after St. Therese be showered with the abundance of flowers of blessings and graces! And may God reward our benefactors for all their generosity.
